Foreword

I have been associated with Oracle HRMS as Functional Consultant for the past couple of years. During this period, I was fortunate enough to interact with some of the exceptionally talented people and it was indeed a great learning experience. Since then I felt a strong urge to record my experience in some form or other and finally descended on blogging. The idea is to shape a blog sphere into a comprehensive compendium of Oracle HRMS reference material as well as repository of Oracle HRMS knowledge.

Then again, Oracle Apps being such a vast subject - I can't claim to have mastered every thing in it. Precisely for that reason, I won't be hesitating to borrow from other sources. The aim, as I said above, is to make this blogspot as one point source for Oracle HRMS knowledge resources to the extent possible.

Everyday life is a new learning experience, and my quest to learn more about Oracle HRMS is no exception. Even while taking maximum care - I request any visitor to this site to bring to my attention any errors and/or un-intentional omissions. That will be great benefit to everyone - me including.

Again I was faced with a dilemma...whether I should restrict myself only to HRMS? After pondering over this quite some time I arrived at the conclusion that - the concept of "all work - no play" makes life dull. Hence I thought, even while not losing track of HRMS, some allied topics like -

• General interview preparation tips for new comers...
• Some basic domain knowledge exposure on HR...
• Health care precaution Computer Professionals must take to stay healthy...
• Some humour...

can possibly be covered periodically. I hope addition of these will make this site more lively and less monotonous.
